This morning I gave birth at a bus stop!

Just that really! 39+2, waters started leaking last night, contractions started, went home and they eased until the early hours when they ramped up. Waited until they were 3 minutes apart and phoned the birth centre. Asked if I could hang on a bit longer so agreed to reassess in half an hour. 15 minutes later and we set off! Waters broke properly on the roundabout before the hospital and I knew I needed to push! Managed to hobble out of the car, pushed his head out on the zebra crossing and the rest of him came by the bus stop! Very thankful for a passing midwife who was on her way to work who was there and my gorgeous DH who was ready to catch him in his polo shirt!

What a day!

Many congratulations 💐

I had a fast Labour with my second too. I decided to go to the hospital to get checked out because I felt off and it was Christmas Eve. As we pulled into the car park I had a huge contraction. 20 minutes later I was sitting in bed with him in my arms.

I very nearly did the same OP, just made it inside the door of the hospital Grin also a second baby and super quick labour. I howled like a banshee and expect I woke half the hospital. Congratulations, he’s just lovely!

Congratulations and thank goodness for the passing midwife (it's very scary that they made you wait so long though).

Oh wow congratulations OP he's bloody gorgeous!

I remember being on a bus in full blown labour with DC2, a kind lady behind me was applying pressure to the bottom of my back when I was contracting. I made it into the hospital just in time Grin

When I was in hospital after having DC3 I was outside getting some air and car came speeding into the car park infront of me, the woman passenger gave birth in the car there and then.

I hope you're ok, that must have been quite frightening (and amazing)
