Altitude and pregnancy

Hello, I am 18 weeks pregnant and due to travel to France in a few weeks. I would love to go on the ski lifts on Mont Blanc but have been told that I shouldn't due to the higher altitude.

Does anyone know any definite answers about this as I can't find much online. Thanks

I have to admit I haven't actually clicked onto any of these but the summaries seem to suggest not adviseable.

But it depends on where you'd be staying anyway etc
