Hi Ladies,
I'm hoping someone can help. I have suffered from really bad pelvic pain from 8weeks! I've being seeing a physio and reflexologist but now that I'm at 32weeks I am beyond struggling
Does anyone know if I can get signed off til 35/36weeks then take my annual holidays as planned before mat leave starts? Or would the gp likely sign me off until mat leave kicks in?
I work part time in a pub and being on my feet for the full shift is really starting to become unbearable. My work have been great with cutting down my hours, putting me on easier shifts and making sure there's another member of staff on with me at the weekends. We work on our own the majority of the time so even though we don't have breaks (as there's no one to cover) I've obviously been allowed to sit down whenever I can. Unfortunately as soon as you sit down someone wants served etc so it never actually happens! I can honestly say that my work have done all they can to make it easier for me and have been really supportive, but I'm just not managing now.
Anyway past the rambling, I was just wondering whether to see the gp to ask to be signed off or if it would mean starting mat leave early and losing my holidays.
Thank you!
P.S - I'm on co-codomol but with two dc to run about after as well as work I can't really rest as much as I would like to
