jalapeno bites - cravings and confessions

I am 15 weeks pregnqnt with baby#2.
Friday night my OH and I went out for dinner and I ordered a side of jalapeno bites, the ones that are a baked jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese and covered in breadcrumbs.
Last night I was home alone with the baby asleep and had two I'd brought home as leftovers. Not satisfied I ordered some to be delivered by a local pizza place. I had to spend over £10 so ordered three portions and ate them all!
Tonight I can think of nothing else. I have searched every online supermarket and found I can buy them in Tesco, Sainburys and Morrisons. I am obsessed! Anyone else getting cravings on the same scale? I think I have a problem!!!!

Plaster dust and paint fumes Confused! I would love to eat a mouthful of very dry plaster dust or fine saw dust. I'm loving the smell of tarmac and that sort of thing. I spent 45 minutes in the hardware shop buying one coat hook at the weekendBlush. This has been a weird pregnancy!

Not spicy as such but definitely more strong flavours (when I used to love bland food before!) like rocket, sweet chilli, balsamic... I also prefer savoury to sweet at the moment!

I have literally walked miles today and tried so many shops to get some more. I have been to 2 Tescos, Aldi, Lidl, Fafm Foods and Iceland. Ended up trying the Burger King chilli cheese bites (ate 6) and buying a bag of pretty much the same from Farm foods (ate 10). They are good but only a sunstitute. We don't have a car til the weekend so I may have to get a roaming bus ticket tomorrow.
I haven't had any heart burn as a result but yesterday I had a very very large poo.

First baby I craved only spinach and taramasalata. Next two can't remember. Last one - spice city. Anything with chilli and a bucket of tabasco on everything when pregnant. Little man is also a spice boy. From first food he's been happy with super spicy food.

I am currently addicted to jalapeño poppers! If you haven't already tried them get the big box from Costco. They are divine.... Morning afternoon and night I could eat them!

Also addicted to monster munch pickled onion crisps and I've been known to make yummy 3am crisp sandwiches with themBlush

ok so you can't order the m&s jalapeno cream cheese tasty little things online, it seems, but someone has kindly posted a drooling picture on facebook:

I'm having brown rice with vegetables and chopped tomatoes tonight. it might be rude if I didn't go via m&s and have some of these on the side...

Thanks luna. I'm having my bloods done tomorrow to check iron levels. It's so weird. I'm utterly obsessed. I bite chunks off and chew them like gum. It takes all of my willpower not to swallow!

Anything salty. And anything rubbish Hmm pot noodles, KFC chips with gravy, white bread marmite sandwiches. I'm limiting myself to a couple of the above a week. I wish i could crave something like cucumber!! Oh and the R Whites lemon ice lollies!

I had those jalapeno bites YEARS ago at a party and couldn't find then anywhere. Now its sounds as if they're everywhere!!

Frolicacid- I had a stage of that too. Are your iron levels down? With me it was definitely linked to low iron, a few weeks of iron tablets sorted that out. I was obsessed with a particular sponge that had an exfoliating side with bigger holes. Actually bought one solely for sucking water out of it.

I have never had them. Now I want them so bad.

Sorry got my posters mixed up then. Probably due to jalapeno withdrawal related mind fog.

wishful M&S ones. I bet they're not just any jalapeno bites. Maybe I could buy some from every available source to compare. What a good plan Grin

scared I have never tried that soup but may have to now as it follows the Mexican theme!

M&S do lovely jalapeño bites!

I haven't really had any cravings - apart from diamonds, which I keep telling the OH, but he doesn't seem too keen on listening...!! - but have been so much hungrier than normal.

At first I really went off sweet things and couldn't face chocolate, but loved crisps, cheese, peanuts. Apparently salty cravings means a boy. Right. Then I changed to fancying sweet things. Which apparently means a girl. So that old wives tale got properly debunked!

Cheese and crisp sandwiches here. And Herta frankfurters for breakfast, cold, out of the pack Confused

Bovril. Out of the jar, and then on toast with a side of hula hoops. Pretty much all I ate first trimester. Salt was king!
Third trimester it's been sweet dairy things. Chocolate eclairs, magnum ice creams, milky bar. I hadn't eaten a cream cake for about 15 years until about a month ago and it seems I am making up for it. (I have them at breakfast...)

I'm 12 weeks and loving ice-cold fanta- has to be in a can and straight out the freezer.
I'm eating 3 bean Mexican soup every day for lunch I always think I'll have something different today and then get to 11am and start craving the soup.
I had a real thing for chip shop curry sauce for a few weeks that stopped on Friday (thankfully for my waistline) ate some of meal and decided it was in fact pretty rank.

not jalopenos, but I had a massive craving for tomato juice this time - 2 litres per day at least. And one day, when Dh came home lugging another crate, I just looked it and said 'Nah..'
