Hi there,
I am around 34 weeks pg with our 2nd DS. First was born 21 months ago by ecs due to him being breech (so not really really my choice). He was born just shy of 4kg. I had a scan today and have been told that the baby will - probably - even bigger this time. I believe that to be true as I did not watch my weight and already put A LOT on, I look like I'm about to pop and big babies run in the family anyway.
As I am effectively a "first timer" should I chose to have a natural birth, I am (very, very) worried about this big baby. As I know now what's coming and heard a lot of scary stories re giving birth to 4/ 4,5kg babies first time, I am not sure if I really can do it.
Is it possible at all to press out such a large baby without doing a lot of damage. A friend of mine ripped right through and was anal incontinent for 8 months .... I can just see myself with a 2 year old, a baby and myself in nappies :(.
