Day 2 potty training

Dd2 is 2.8 and has been using the potty before her bath for several months so I started training her yesterday. I put her on the potty every half hour or so and she weed in the potty probably 6/7 times and did 2 poos and 1 wee in her pants. Today I haven't been putting her on the potty and just asking her if she needs a wee but she has had 3 accidents. Should I just keep putting her on the potty every half hour at this stage?

Also she doesn't seem at all bothered by having accidents, she doesn't tell me either during or after, just keeps on playing. Does that mean she's not ready? DD1 seemed to just crack it straightaway at 2.4

I am no expert but I think because you took her at regular intervals on day one it’s unlikely she has fully understood her body’s signals yet! Perhaps take her again at regular intervals for a few days or just ride out the accidents and when she has one explain that her body was showing her she needed to wee/poo next time go to toilet/potty.

i trained my daughter with the regular intervals method and then after a little while she just got annoyed that I was taking her and not asking or trusting her so I did the listen to your body suggestion and since then no accidents.
