Re: my friend and the adoption. The interview went well, and they've been told its between them and another couple and they will know by tomorrow night. I'm finding it hard to pray because I know one couple will be disappointed
At least they'll know quickly though.

Your poor DH - we are a very traditional family too and my DH felt awful when we moved to Wales and he couldn't get a job that paid enough to sustain us, poor man! He really beat himself up about it, so I defintiely know how you are all feeling right now. I sincerely hope that your DH finds something soon - will be praying lots and lots - Prasie God for your lovely DD!!

hi cd. i agree re never underestimating children. dh hiding he is suffering i think. saw him briefly at lunchtime and an agency called - his hands were shaking when holding the phone... fought very hard not to cry . he is trying very hard to keep a smiling face but we both know he is really stressed out by it all. we are quite a traditional family so it must be harder than i imagine for him not to be the bread winner... our dd is keeping us going - she is our little angel . as for me, i am going out with some west london mumsnet and looking forward to it. i have met some of them before and they are very nice; it will do me some good and i shall indulge in a G&T or two!

Bless you nanou1 - and bless your little DD - Children are amazing and very perceptive - we must never underestimate them! How is your DH doing? And you? Hope you enjoyed your lunch break!!

All ok in DippyLand, DD's are at nursery and I am just doing the hoovering, which is a loooong and arduous job as PIL's house is massive. I am sweating buckets - really pleasant for my driving lesson in a little while!

Love and Prayers to all. xxxx

MaryBS - they don't know if it wil go away but are hopeful that it will, because she was so young when it developed approx 6months old, they think they is a fair chance it will ebcause our body chemistry changes so much between now and adulthood.

PRaying hard for your friends going though adoption

lwtg - don't rush it. Maybe God is telling you not to continue with your calling until all is right in your marriage. Be patient and pray. More importantly listen for Him, because he knows your heart. It will take time for your heart to be healed and for you to trust again. {hug}. It IS possible to learn from this experience and for your marriage to grow in trust, and for your faith in God to grow. As ever, I will pray for you.

Katzg - I had a look at that leaflet. So, what do the Drs tell you in terms of the condition going away? I'm glad it doesn't seem to bother your DD.

Please pray for the hall situation still. One of the PCC has thrown a spanner in the works, saying he's not sure legal action is a good idea and wants it to go to ANOTHER meeting...

Thank you lwtg - I don't know what to say.

Have printed out leaflet and will read tonight katzg.

It's been a hectic, long and tiring day - looking forward to the DD's being in bed!!

Love and Prayers to all. xxxx

thankfully DD's skin condition doesn't seem to bother her, she just has red blotches all over her back, tummy and some on her arms and legs, but the cells that cause it can in a very minor number of cases turn on the internal organs, this is very very very rare and we've been assured is highly unlikely to happen, especially as in dd's the blotches are continous, she doesn't have flare ups, they are just there, however this makes treating it harder, they tend to control the flare ups. if anyone is interested in reading more then leaflet here

nanou1 so sorry your feeling so trust in God hun He will see you through.

Katzg so sorry your dd skin is so bad its horrid seeing something wrong with your children isn't it.

Captdippy you are so fab and an inspiration to us all wish i had half of your zeal, faith etc.

Marybs thank you sooo much for those words, just don't know whats wrong with me at the minute, just constantly testing dh that he wants to be with me - I know he does but why can't we move on? God has done so much for us over the last 12 months its unbelievable how far we've come but just feel so at times that life has changed beyond recognition, and that we have had to give up our calling because of his actions.
