Bugaboo donkey?

Tips please! DS will be 2 when our 2nd baby arrives so we wanted a double pram that could switch to single

He’s a tall boy (98th centile) but standard weight really for his height!

j went to check this pram out today (DS not with me) and the shop lady did say the toddler seat can be narrow and to get him in it to test out

Anyone else thought this with their bugaboo toddler seats?? I would love a side by side double that could be switched to single - not tandem

We had it for our twins. It’s a great piece of kit but fecking enormous and a bit of a pain to get in and out of the car. You’ll need a huge boot as well.

My boys are now 3.5 and could still comfortably fit in the toddler seats.

This is what I have. I have a big toddler and he actually fits the seat fine.
but like pp says. It’s massive. Doesn’t fit through my front door so I need to take one out before bringing it indoors which is a pita.

My 20 month old is on the 99.6th centile for weight and height (she's the size of a 3 year old) and still fits easily into the donkey. The donkey is big, but fits through the vast majority of doorways (although often only just). In parent facing mode the seats fully recline for naps and it steers really nicely for a double. I love it! It is bulky to get in the boot if a car though. We have an estate do it hasn't been an issue for us, but if you have a small hatchback then you might struggle.

If you do choose to go for it, get one second hand! I got mine second hand on Facebook marketplace for less than a third of the cost of new and it was in perfect condition.
