OP, nowadays, real live babies are just as good as the simulators, so I think you'll be able to tell whether he can look after a baby from using the real one. It's just as effective, honestly!

This is of course another troll and is going to get pulled within the next 5 minutes, but I did enjoy this response.

Demand, not depends

Bit late for that. Also, what will you do if he doesn't look after the pretend baby? Depends she leaves him?

God I hope this isn't real. If it's legit "My MIL gave me a baby simulator AIBU to think she is completely batshit?" will be posted sooner or later.

Do not.

You’re out of line, and are well on the way to becoming an interfering MIL from hell. This really isn’t your business.

@ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble

Why spend money needlessly when you could just move in with them?

Randomly scream during the night, demand to be fed, spit on him and shit in his gaming chair.

That way you'll get first hand experience of how he'll deal with it all.

It's a bit late for that. If you're looking to buy him a gift I suggest durex.

Ah, you’re that sort of MIL. She’s either planned to have a baby with him or gone along with it if it was an accident so why not trust your daughter.

A bit late for that now if she is already pg. If they are old enough to have babies they are old enough to work it out themselves.

You sound concerned for your daughter but this is the wrong way to go about things. I think you have to make it clear to her that you'll be there for support and suggest they both do any NHS or nct classes on your area.

Step away from the stimulator

It’s absolutely none of your business. You aren’t his boss or parent. It’s not your place to test him to see if he’ll be a good enough dad or not. Back off.
