I try soooo hard with my two DSs.....try not to have the TV on all the time, try not to shout too much, try to do fun enjoyable stuff that doesn't come particularly naturally to me, at the same time as trying to cook them nutritious food, keep my house nice etc etc. Trying too hard maybe....jesus it just gets too much sometimes doesn't it??
This morning:
5.24am start, as usual, DS2, 1, gets up very early, DS1, 3, jumps into our bed and accidently head butts my eye
DH moan moan moaning before he goes to work that he can't work out his camera, he is a complete technophobe, have to have a very patient lesson with him again on how to do it
Try to do colouring and sticking and cutting out with DS1, DS2 pulls all pens and everything onto the floor
Blow up balloons to let them muck about, get them kicked in my face for the next 20 minutes
Sit on the floor to sort washing, get jumped on, boobs kicked, head butted, I am covered in bruises from flailing legs etc; boys use the laundry basket as a boat, "get off it please Mummy needs that, no off, I SAID OFF IT PLEASE!!"
Attempt to put washing in dryer in garage without TWO KIDS FOLLOWING ME INTO THE GARDEN, NO YOU CAN@T COME OUT, IT'S WET GET BACK INSIDE, DS1 opens door again, DS2 crawls out I put him back in and SLAM door shut in a rage, he gets the edge of his finger caught and screams and screams and screams God I feel really terrible about it.
I know they are just kids - I know I am the adult here - I know I should do jobs when they are not around/sort washing upstairs etc, but god sometimes you just want to get a few things done without a constant onslaught!!!!
OK. Calm now. Will try and be a nicer person. I am not living up to my nickname this morning.
