Asymmetric creases and differing leg lengths

My dd is 6.3 months and since her legs have chuncked out I've noticed that the creases in her fat are asymmetrical. Her legs are also slightly different lengths. I brought it up at the health visitor clinic and she said to take her the gp. I can't get in until next week so I'm left trying not to Google it! Has anyone had this???

Dd2 15 months has slight hip dysplasia- picked up late. Her leg creases are slightly unmatched. She crawled at 9 months and walked at 13 so normal range for those things. The consultant says her hips are 'shallow' and hopes they will right herself in time. She's due another X-ray in summer and if there's still an issue she may need surgery. Which I dread but on the other hand better now than in her 30s I guess.

Not as far as I know, she is now 27 so it was a while ago.
Try not to worry too much easier said than done as she is still only little her bones are still quite flexible/mouldable and growing so if there is a problem the doctors should soon pick it up and treat her accordingly.

It's interesting you say about keeping her legs open because she does seem a bit reluctant to open her legs too wide- it can be tricky to change her nappy sometimes. Was your baby breech? Dd was breech until 36-37 weeks and apparently that can affect hip development. I'm pissed off that I didn't just insist on seeing the gp on Wednesday now- I'm going to worry all weekend.

Definitely get her checked over so that you can be sure that her hip joints have formed properly.
My DD had asymmetrical creases at the top of her legs, had a couple of xrays and examinations and double nappies for a few months (to keep her legs apart more) but they soon righted themselves.

It's noticable now I've noticed it IYSWIM. It's hard to measure as her legs are really quite fat now (utterly adorable) and she's very wriggly. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see but it's very hard not to imagine the worst....

Dd is already starting to crawl a little- well doing that rolling/shifting about thing but she does sometimes feel a little stiff(??) when I'm changing her nappy, not floppy like her brother was/is.

DD had this. They'll more than likely want to xray hips. DD had no hip abnormalities. She was hypermobile. But I knew that anyway. She's fine now, at 2. But didn't crawl and walked quite late.

I have no advice sorry except please do not Google! Nothing good comes from it. I'm sure I've read we all have one leg slightly longer than the other?
