Leaking Nappies

My son is 21 months and his nappies are leaking though his clothes within 20mins of him putting it on! A simple car journey and he needs to be changed at the other end! Ive tried so many brands! Has anyone else had this?

Ditto Huggies 4+ ; batch we got seemed to be smaller than usual and leak more.
We went up a nappy size and seemed to do the trick.
Also, have you tried double nappying? We do this for longer journeys - outside nappy then becomes the inside one at next change and so on... Seems to work for us.

I don't know if this is what's happening in your case, but I've had a couple of bad batches of Huggies 4+ - they hardly last at all.

Have you tried washables? They're usually more absorbent with fast-flow situations (sounds as though your DS wees pretty quickly!) than disposables because disposables rely on the water-absorbent-gel to react, rather than simply soaking up the liquid as washables do.
