Wedding music help!

I need to choose some pieces for my wedding. I dont want to walk in to here comes the bride.

I am getting married in a teeny tiny church in gretna green and need somethign to walk in to, something whilst we are signing the register and something for us to walk out to.

Im looking for funny suggestions for walking out - something unexpected that will raise a smile.

I would like my walking in music to be moving and raise a few tears!

Any ideas anyone?

I walked in to Lets Get It On by Marvin Gaye, and got the staff to open the doors after the intro bit just as the words "let's get it on" were being sung - loads of people smiled about that.
Our walking out song was the You and Me song by the Wannadies. Romantic in a very normal way.

As we are TTC we are hoping to be pregnant for our ceremony and if so will play Travis Flowers in the window. If not we think it will be shania twain from this moment.

Have not thought about walking out so am looking for some tips!!!

We had trouble witht he first dance song but have decided on Simply red You make me feel brand new. Temptations cover

This wedding stuff is a nightmare

I walked out to the upbeat Baz Luhrman remix of 'Love is in the air' - really fun and uplifting - and in to music from Baz Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet. We had the cinema Paradiso music while people were filing in. (My dh is a film nut - can you tell?)

We walked out to Primal Scream announcing 'Let's have a party'

Actually if you have a CD player only it's a good idea to burn a CD of music for your wedding and reception. When dh and I want a romantic evening in, we open a bottle of red and put on our wedding CDs. So much more evocative than photos.

Better than an organ though - at least you have a choice of music rather than what the organist can play (the organist at our Wedding had a very limited repertoire and played everything v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y)

Yes, all I have available to me is a small cd player at the back of the room!

My friend had a welsh male voice choir at her wedding.
They sang something in Welsh as she arrived can't remember what it was, but a famous tune.
They sang all the hymns - it was very moving.

And the 'Bread of Heaven' rugby anthem (OK I know it is a hymn - the couple are big rugby fans)

It was fab!

I love the blowers daughter by damian rice but not sure of its meaning? Is it a love song?

Also love she is love by Maroon 5
