Been reading a lot on here recently about the 15 hours free childcare for 3 years olds. My child is at a nursery where he has been since 9 months for 3 full days a week. The nursery is on the local authorities list as offering the childcare. He is nearly 2, I'm wondering do I need to apply to the nursery to have his 15 hours with them ? Do the have limited spaces for this service ? I understand I will have to continue to pay for the excess and during holiday but every little helps working full time and I don't want to miss out if I need to be applying now - thanks
