What the ideal app to help you stay on top of things would look like?

Hi all,
I am working on an app that will help parents remind their key tasks, dates, and events for their families (i.e: localised recommendations on school registration dates, birthdays, passport renewal dates, milestone medical appointments like vaccinations…). This service will be free of charge.
I'd like to get your opinion on the necessity of such an app, would you use it? If so, ideally what type of task/service would you like to be available?

That sounds awesome. It would be really cool if you could somehow get it to link up with the calendar on your phone. I put everything I need to know on there but would struggle if I had to check another app for dates etc. Push notices might work if it couldn't be linked though.
