We are thrilled to announce that comedian, writer and actor Dawn French will be joining us here at the Towers on Wednesday 3 November, from 7.30pm to 8.30pm for a live webchat.
Dawn has appeared in some of the country's most long-running, fave shows including French and Saunders, The Comic Strip Presents?, Vicar of Dibley and most recently, Roger and Val Have Just Got In.
On top of her screen achievements, Dawn's memoir, Dear Fatty, topped the best-selling charts and now her first novel, A Tiny Bit Marvellous, is out and it's more than a tiny bit marvellous that she's joining us for a webchat. Hope you can too, but if you're unable to make it on Wednesday, post your questions here.

What a pity I missed this. Sad I feel a special bond with her (one-way only obviously) since the time that time that our approval to adopt panel date was cancelled because I was too fat. I remembered her saying in an interview years and years ago that there were also issues with her weight when being assessed. It all worked out fine by the way, in the end we came away with our gorgeous DD and I had a hunky personal trainer. Grin

I hope that Dawn will sneak back and read about how much we all love her sometime in the future because I didn't get chance to tell her how totally fabulous she is when she was here.

Dawn - you are totally fabulous. [snogs Dawn]

One of my little daydreams is about being a sketch writer with Dawn and Jennifer. I turn up to their production office (or a gorgous house) armed with a notebook and a life-time supply of Green & Blacks. It all goes swimmingly until the point where they ask me who my favourite comedian is, at which point I lose my limited social skills completely and blurt out "Victoria Wood". Blush Then it all goes frosty, I leave under a cloud not having written anything even remotely funny, and that's the end of my comedy writing career. Grin

Purplepeony and Miffymuffy (what a ridiculous name by the way) - you are both so RUDE. I am speechless that you could be so unkind and think your comments even remotely appropriate, I am amazed that more people are not up in arms about your comments.

Dawn, are you still there? (probably not if you don't have a PC) - please ignore them - you look lovely.

Do you think she found us all so warm and witty and wonderful that she might go out and buy a computer so she can be our friend? She needs us, let's face it. We have loads of good advice on here, we can pick her out nice clothes on S&B, commiserate with her when her new date is crap, empathise if she wants to bitch about her ex, and she can have a 'night out' on a Friday without having to drive back to Cornwall. It's not right not having a computer is it? I feel a little bit sorry for her now. We could be the making of that girl - if only she knew it. As it is she's just festering, hanging out with famous types and fiddling around writing bits of stuff out longhand.Sad
