ok here the thing i agree let girls be girls and girls like to dress up just becouse they wear a little heel doesn't mean they will grow up to be naughty or not self reliant. girls like to be pretty its not like they are going to wear these shoes everyday all day you can stil wear heels look good and be educated and smart. looking good is feeling good

Actually they were both very very good indeed I am impressed and I don't say that lightly does anyone have a recipe for Chinese style turnips as I have tofu and turnips in the fridge now and not a lot of inspiration as to what to do for tea

I struggle to follow the plot with some of these opening rambling posts which refuse to use any punctuation whether it be commas full stops or really anything which could be perceived as a sign to pause for breath or stop to think or even to list things in order so that the person reading it could understand what it was on about from the off and not make life difficult because lets face it sometimes its impossible to give a constructive answer to the question when all you want to do is scream at the screen and mostly I give up I can't believe how difficult it has been to type this bilge without punctuation I have to keep backspacing and removing it

I think I would also enjoy writing a stream of consciousness post would anyone else like to join in my it's been quite warm today my lettuces are doing brilliantly not so sure about the runner beans but I think they will pick up if it starts to rain

Because they are CHILDREN. They are not mini-adults. They should be outside, climbing trees and getting muddy, or at least (if they are less rambunctiously-inclined) making daisy chains and hunting for fairies at the bottom of the garden.

They shouldn't be wearing padded bikinis, or "Wannabe WAG" T-shirts or, frankly, high heels (which are bad for developing feet and posture; they put feet in a plantarflexed position with increased amount of pressure on the forefoot, cause lumbar spine flattening and a posterior displacement of the head and thoracic spine. Yes, really.) High heels are worn by adult women because they accentuate the calves, define the muscles of the bottom, make legs appear longer and feet smaller, and produce what is generally considered a more seductive gait. None of these factors ought to apply to a child.

Some people wear crotchless underwear and nipple tassles, why can't a child experience those things? Because they are inappropriate for children, and I don't think it's just finding fault or causing drama to say so.

Yes you can always look pretty no matter what you wear, but do you wear sweat pants and t-shirt when you go to fancy rest. with your husband or to a wedding or to a prom or to church. No you dress up. Some people wear flts some wear heels why can't a child experience same thing. Even my son likes to do his hair smell good and where nice dress shoes is this a bad thing. Now a days have we became such a society we see pass the all this as "steroetyping". I mean if you think there is a stereotyping of girls or women who wear heels, then u would to have to join the club as one of those people who does that, i do not look at someone you wears heels diffrently if she would wear flats. Then it must be the problem of the person making the comments or steroetyping that child, not the child fault nor what she wears. To use the excuse that it would hurt her feet. Come on really !!!!! People just want to find fault and cause drama. If you don't like don't buy it. Just do not shout at people who do. If your daughter wants them tell her "no". If she cries be a parent and deal with it.

I don't think the issue is about girls wanting to be pretty. The fact is that heels are not very good for developing feet. Bunions are never a good look.

General sweeping statements like 'girls like to be pretty' are a bit odd IMO. Why does dressing in certain things = pretty anyway. Surely someone can be 'pretty' without wearing special stuff?
