Book suitability for 11 year old-philippa gregory

My daughter is an avid reader and loves history. She has asked if she can read the Philippa Gregory books starting with lady of the rivers. I know she won't have any trouble understanding or following the book but I can't remember what it is like in terms of the amount of sex scenes. I do remember thinking the tv adaptations were much more raunchy than the books but it has been a while since I read the books and I was wondering if anyone has read them more recently or can remember better and advise? For reference she is pretty mature and sensible but still only 11.

The books aren’t as raunchy as the tv series so I think she’s be fine.

I was an 11 year old that read all manner of unsuitable books and I think on balance it doesn't do that much harm - unlike with visual media the readers own state of ignorance can protect her from understanding or imagining what is going on.
However if you are concerned I think the more recent royal personnage ones are les raunchy than the earlier ones and I would specifically advise against Wideacre and it's sequel which contain incest and bdsm.
