Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Yolk sac disappeared but embryo and FP seen?

After some advice desperately

My confirmed ovulation date was Feb 8th (5 weeks and 4 days ago) but adding the 2 weeks on it would make me about 7 week and a bit pregnant

27th Feb- early scan, nothing seen

3rd March - gestational sac and yolk sac seen. GS measuring 4.7mm x 3.6mm x 4.8mm

17th March - yolk sac no longer visible, however she could now see an embryo?? And a fetal pole. No heartbeat. GS now measuring 12m x 10mm x 24 mm.

Notes also say my uterus is retroverted.

She told me to prepare for a miscarriage but because there was growth to come back in 1 week for a scan but not to get my hopes up.

I asked her why is the yolk sac no longer visible, she said it must have dissolved. But then how can we see an embryo now?
It makes no sense to me and I felt brushed off and nothing explained.

I've had very mild cramping once or twice since friday, no bleeding. Don't really have preg symtpoms except being tired.

I am petrified and feel like there is no hope. Waiting till Friday seems like eternity.

Grateful if anyone has any advice or success stories.

Hi

I miscarried :(

It turned out there was no growth 6 weeks onwards

I did wait it out another 2 weeks in the hope something would grow but no luck

I had to have an MVA

Since then I've had 2 consecutive miscarriages but I've been referred to a miscarriage clinic where I've tested positive for aps so I have sticky blood meaning there may be lack of oxygen feeding into baby or something so I've got a plan for when I next fall pregnant I.e. aspirin, and blood thinning injections

I hope all goes well for you 🙏

Hello
Thank you for coming back to me. I am so sorry for your losses. I’m in the same boat, had 2 consecutive miscarriages and this would be the third ( I was told chances are slim for this to be a viable pregnancy). I am going back on Thursday to see if anything changes.
Had some tests done after the second miscarriage (at the recurrent miscarriage clinic)and came back fine for me. We do know though that we have sperm morphology issues.
I hope all goes well for you with future pregnancies.

Good luck I hope it goes well, keep us posted. Have you tried getting your partner on pre natals? My initial issue was falling pregnant and his motility was low, he then started taking the conceive plus male pre natals and I became pregnant that cycle (my issue is now retaining the pregnancy)

All the best, and take it easy xx

Hello. I had the same issue and I’m currently very emotional 😩
I should be 7 weeks 4 days.

I had my first scan at 5 weeks and saw a gec sac. Came back three days later and they could now see a yolk sac too! All was good.

started bleeding at 7 weeks had a scan and could now see a fetal pole but no yolk sac or heartbeat and embryo was measuring way smaller than it should be!! I have to go back next week to see if any growth/heartbeat can be seen.

Worrying but there’s nothing I can do 😩 pls let me know if you have any updates on your situation.

Very sorry to hear this, mine ended in a miscarriage but I tried holding on and hoping for the best :(

I pray yours has a different outcome, please be easy on yourself (easier said than done)
