Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Caring for my toddler whilst recovering

On Friday I lost my pregnancy at almost 10 weeks, and Saturday I had ERPC under general anesthesia. My husband had Monday off but is now back at work so it's just me and my 2 YO DD.
All I want to do is be alone and hide in bed most of the day, but I can't. I have one day where I'm ok and try to do activities with my DD and the next I'm so low and don't even want to shower. I feel so guilty for her being stuck in the house with the TV on, as she had this most of last week as my bleeding started the weekend before.

I just don't know how I'm going to grieve the way I need to and also care for my DD

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I had an early miscarriage when my first was a toddler and it was so hard. All I can say is just take it a moment at a time. Can you set your LO up with a tablet and snacks next to you in bed so you can keep resting? For me I needed to keep busy so was glad to have DS as he was very active and having him basically forced me to get outside. Thanks I hope you are doing as ok as can be, take care.
