Hi everyone.
I had a missed miscarriage in September, I had medical management on the 17th September which mostly worked... I was told that the product (hate that term) left, would come away naturally in time with periods etc.
However between then and last week I was remained bleeding, not heavy blood but pinkish when I wiped. I have had 2 periods in between (I know this due to the period pain and it being more like a period/ clots etc). I had also been back to hospital for scans/ swabs/blood tests/urine tests etc. All tests were clear however they could still see a thumbnail size of product (before my last period). Last period (last week) I had severe period pain, couldn't get out of bed (here's were my question really starts and thank you to anyone who has stayed with me!) so I had 1 day off sick. I had previously been signed off in September during the actual mmc period. Yesterday I was off sick because I have a virus that's going around though bleeding has now stopped and seems back to "normal". Anyway! My work (school -I'm a teacher) have asked to have a meeting with me due to the time off I've had. It was my understanding that when I was signed off (and even the day last week) were all pregnancy related -this is what I had been told in the hospital and I did keep HR in my work in the loop of everything.... I guess what I want to know is that even though this may be routine, am I right in saying the 2 bouts of sickness were indeed pregnancy related and therefore shouldn't count to generate this meeting? Just want to have all my facts straight before the meeting as already feel like I will cry as soon as I start talking about it.
I hope this all makes sense, it's all been such a drain. Thank you to anyone who can offer advice! X
