Keto OMAD and calorie counting.

I've taken influence from quiet a few different "diets" which includes very low/no carbs, intermittent fasting and calorie counting to be on the safe side.
Is anyone doing this, want to do it or has done it?

Advanced search couldn't find anything for OMAD Keto. I just wanted a buddy and somewhere to discuss my ups and downs and to see if anyone else has figured something out to help others etc.

I don't do this everyday but I do it on the days I work (I work evenings). I have 3 soya flat whites in the morning, and a giant, and I mean giant, salad (with some protein) at 4pm before getting ready to work. I eat a spoonful of peanut butter when I get home if I need to, but that's me done. I love the simplicity of it.

So, let me get this clear: you reduce/eliminate a macronutrient (the carbs), you reduce how often you eat (OMAD) and you reduce the amount you eat (calorie counting) .
How are you doing a week in?

I do ketovore. Mostly animal based products very occasional veges (if they are on offer!)

2 meals per day though. Lunch and dinner.

I don’t calorie count. Tbh on the above I struggle to consume more than 1500 calories anyway. I couldn’t do OMAD as couldn’t stomach all my calories in one meal.

OMAD keto sounds like a fancy cover up for an eating disorder.

I do this - I eat one meal when I get home from work at around 4pm. I made sure I’d been doing keto for several weeks and then went to omad as well. Keto helps reduce your appetite so it’s not hard as you might think.

In the past I’ve tried ADF but I don’t have a lot of weight to lose and I found it stressed my body too much; omad is much more sustainable.
