My 14 year old daughter says she is transgender but she wears makeup and has a boyfriend. I'm very confused.

If she’s just saying it and going about her life I’d probably leave her too it and put it down to the influence of social media.
If she’s really struggling you probably need to listen and ask her to explain.

I just saw this but as you hadn't had a lot of response I thought I'd recommend both Bayswater https://www.bayswatersupport.org.uk/
& this book

"for parents who want their children to flourish, but do not believe that hasty medicalisation is the best way to ensure long-term health and well-being."

Best wishes for your entire family

You're far from alone @Overreactingmom even though it can definitely feel like that
