Hi ladies, just wondered if anyone wants to hold hands as we go through a cycle?

After a failed fresh cycle earlier this year, I’m starting my progynova today with a planned FET for May.

Would love some company x

@bangsaklove thanks. Good luck for your scan tomorrow. You will be glad to get EC done, bloating will go down a bit then. I looked very pregnant with my bloating. I wore pjs for several days! EC itself was a breeze. Just painful afterwards but not like really bad. Nice one that your DH is good at injections 👌

@PonyPals every day feels like I'm getting AF. Just expected to see the faintest of lines by now if it had worked 😏

@rainylake thanks for the words of encouragement. I know I've got a few more days to go. I went to the gym for a good workout today, felt I needed it

@Si1ver thanks hun. It's hard. Trying to stay positive but every day gets worse

@SouthernBella74 thanks. Everyone is different, hopefully I'm one of those that gets a bfp last minute!

Good luck to anyone having a scan tomorrow that I've missed! x

Lovely news @rainylake mine is super faint too (though my OTD isn't for another 3 days) I've taken a. Photo and look at it about 20 times a day!

@Yorkshirelass27 how scary - you poor thing! Glad the staff were good though- hope you're resting up

@bangsaklove The bloating is awful - and extremely limits your wardrobe! Not long now x

@Yorkshirelass27 hope you feel less sore tomo! Relax and be kind to yourself...I intend to next week 😀

Thank you @rainylake and @yorkshirelass27 you’re right bloating frustration and apprehension actually so close now. I am one lucky lady as DH works in the NHS so he is super supportive and awesome at injections! :-) I married well hahahah

rainylake that sounds like the best way of having EC! I had sedation but was fully aware of everything that was happening. The things we have to go through huh!
Keep your chin up bangsaklove, not long to go now. It's just all massive waiting game unfortunately Confused Keep us posted

@Yorkshirelass27 coming round was fine - it was just like waking up after a sleep, and they gave me paracetamol intravenously before they brought me round so I felt fine. I was sore later in the day and the next day, and I did find it frustrating that it took a while to recover (and probably didn't take enough painkillers) and I was bloated for a while afterwards and found it hard to get comfortable in bed. I didn't have general anaesthetic, just sedative, but for me it amounted to the same thing - I remember talking to the anaesthetist just as she was putting the drug in, and then the next thing I knew I was in a different room and a nurse was waking me up.

@bangsaklove honestly this is the worst part and all being well by the end of the weekend you will be up the upward curve, and hopefully with some good news. The waiting around not being sure when they're going to go ahead and getting more and more bloated and is really stressful. Hope your DH is being supportive and understands what you're going through.

rainylake I was just relieved that it stopped (as I think was the dr.!). Didn't fancy having stitches! Hoping I don't have to go through it again, but if I do I think I may ask to be knocked out. How did you feel once you came round? I'm still sore and bloated today.

Thank you @rainylake! I feel I’ve been uber strong the whole last 5 weeks and now becoming a mess at the last hurdle!

@bangsaklove I didn't get bleeding but have heard that it is quite common to at least have some spotting and doesn't necessarily mean that it has failed. The bloating is horrid but you are so close now so hang on in there.

@Yorkshirelass27 what a horrendous experience! It sounds really scary and traumatic. I feel quite bad having moaned bout my egg collection now which was pretty tame in comparison and I slept through the whole thing.

Everyone who is past test date did you have any bleeding before OTD? That will be my concern, as usually get spotting anywya due to endo. Would be nice to just at the very least get to the test date you know after going through it all..

Meanest thing about the bloating I look bl00dy pregnant and only recently married so I know what people are thinking...I feel like screaming I’m the opposite of pregnant Grin

bangsaklove ugh the bloating is horrible, I feel for you. Not long to go now, hang in there (& drink lots of water!).
PonyPals yes I was awake through it all. Them trying to stop the bleeding was by far the most painful part of it all. Bless him, my DH (who is not a fan of others blood) was with me, so got a good eyeful.
Not sure what caused it other than a blood vessel being caught.
Thanks for that Si1ver, I guess we would all like more embies to make it. I'd be happy if all 3 behave and make it to day 5. However, knowing my luck it might not be that straight forward Confused

@rainylake, congratulations on your BFP! 🎉 What a lovely way to start the day. 🤗

Ladies, don’t give up hope until your OTD. I had no symptoms at all, but cramping & feeling like AF was on the way. Boobs are naturally big & (thankfully) they haven’t gotten bigger. Still don’t really “feel” pregnant, but all the tests say yes! So, just to say, try & stay positive. 🌟

@bangsaklove, yes, will post an update next week. Hopefully, it all looks good. Good luck with your EC this weekend. 🍀

@Yorkshirelass27 that sounds scary! Regards quantities,we had five mature eggs retrieved, all fertilised, one transferred and two hatched blastocysts frozen. The other two would have been considered ok for transfer if they were all we had, but wouldn't survive the freezing and defrost.

One is all you need.

@picklesandpetals try and keep your chin up, you're not out until OTD

@PonyPals that's how I felt before my BFP. I was so convinced it hadn't worked I bet my husband a bottle of gin that it hadn't. Fingers crossed for you.

bangsaklove they collected 8 eggs yesterday, 4 fertilised, but only 3 properly. Loads of luck for your scan tomorrow and EC.
PonyPals it was scary. Could feel the blood flow out of me (onto the operating floor)- sorry if tmi. Took 30 gauzes to stop it and a lot of pressure! To be fair the medical staff were brilliant. Just hope it was all worth it. Got everything crossed for a positive outcome for you too.

@picklesandpetals no I didn't test early. And when I tested this morning the line was incredibly faint - it got slightly more visible after a few minutes but when it first came through I honestly wasn't sure whether I was imagining it and at first I was completely convinced it was a negative. So I'm pretty sure that if I'd tested even yesterday I'd have got a negative. So don't lose hope until Sunday, because it could just be that the hormone levels aren't high enough to be picked up by the test.

Omg @rainylake that is soooo exciting! Congratulations!
@Yorkshirelass27 the bleeding sounds scary. I think 3 is still pretty good and they might all get to the blastocyst stage.

@picklesandpetals I'm sorry you have been having BFNs
I feel like I am out this round too. Lots of bloating and cramping. Feel like AF is coming on Sad
