Hi ladies, just wondered if anyone wants to hold hands as we go through a cycle?

After a failed fresh cycle earlier this year, I’m starting my progynova today with a planned FET for May.

Would love some company x

It's a BFP for me ladies... for now!
The HCG is a bit low at 91 as the clinic wants to see it at 150 and above. Re testing again on Friday.

@AnSil that sounds interesting and something I think I'll look into. Did I read before that you'd drawn up a spreadsheet of clinics?

Good luck @bangsaklove. Keep us posted

@AniSL and @Si1ver I'm taking DHEA and Ubiquinol so that's good to hear Si1ver. The 'it starts with an egg' book was anti- royal jelly so haven't taken that. Wondered about Melatonin for this round although I'm already rattling as also taking Vit D, magnesium, probiotic, folic acid and then 2 meds for a chronic condition!!

@bangsaklove good luck tomorrow!

I used DHEA to improve egg quality and AMH levels. No idea how successful it was.

@happyhedgehog247 also there was another thread on here about tge use of Tamoxifen to improve egg quality - not sure if you picked up on it

@Ahoneybee yes first cycle and we chose abroad in Greece. Love my clinic and though our first round did not work, we are sticking with our clinic and going back in September. I got daily scans and blood tests done at the clinic and they gave me my trigger shot free after they decided that I may be better to go with Averkap ovet Ovitrelle. They have kept the Ovitrelle for me for my next cycle.
Sadly though embies were both grade A at day 3, they didnt make it to day 5. We didnt have to pay the part of the package that was the transfer fee.
We can afford several cycles abroad compared to maybe one in the UK and with better success rates.

@happyhedgehog247 are you trying the usual suspects - Ubiquinol, DHEA, Inositol, Melatonin and Royal Jelly?

Lots of luck for tomorrow bangsaklove, hope all goes well.
Also good luck happyhedgehog, sounds like you have a brilliant clinic.

Afm I'm still waiting to see if you third embie will make it to the freezer. It hasn't made blastocyst today, but apparently there's still time. I'm still feeling bloated and getting regular cramps. Presuming it's the Cyclogest. Time is passing very slowly!
Hope you all had a good weekend x

I'm sorry to hear you're in a similar situation @AniSL. Did you do your cycle here or abroad?

@bangsaklove good luck for tomorrow.

Thanks guys, if only the hospital could make my eggs younger! ha!

Fingers crossed for everyone here, guess I need to go and see if there is a July thread

@happyhedgehog247 that sounds like an amazing care package, very rare to get that nowadays unless you go fulk crazy price private. Good luck.

@bangsaklove good luck

Taking three month break. Worked out my 90 day egg cycle date which will mean EC in September and starting date is mid June, so hopefully I do not see most of you on a cycle buddy September thread as you lot should be well and truly pregnant by then

@HappyHedgehog24 glad that your hospital has been so helpful and that you feel reassured. This process is so scary and there is so much conflicting information out there (even from reputable sources, not just crazy internet-land) that it's really important to feel that you have confidence in the medics in charge of you. Enjoy the wine and make the most of it!

@bangsaklove good luck with egg collection tomorrow. Hope the drugs work well for you and that they get lots of eggs.

Sorry about your bfn @pickles. It's rubbish. Be kind to yourself.

I had my review with my hospital and was really impressed. Doctor happy to recommend places abroad if I move to donor egg, happy to do scans locally if I want to move to London clinic. Talked me through each stage. Had held case review with all nursing staff to try and identify lessons learned from fact I'd taken wrong dose (which may have been my mis-understanding). Was so impressed I'm going again with them, especially as they are half the price of CRGH I think. I'll be adding testosterone to the mix this time. Lucky me!

Enjoying some wine and coffee for last week of freedom!

@Si1ver That would be great if you can send me the details, thank you

@rainylake I think bourn hall does it, need to look at their criteria to see if qualify for that plan

@Ahoneybee we've definitely been through it. Feeling pregnant, constipation, injections, pessaries etc. Is this your first cycle?

Had some wine and rum yesterday and about to enjoy a coffee. Need to pull myself and my strength back together, prepare for next time and hope it happens naturally in the meantime xx

@bangsaklove I guess there is a slight chance it could be implantation but think more likely AF. I can't do a test today as in the middle of nowhere and no shops open.

@picklesandpetals I know what you mean about feeling angry and dissapointed. It's not just the cost but what we're also having to put our bodies through.
