Hey - sorry for disappearing, i think i must have turned off notifications for this post, i thought it had all gone quiet, such i lived on to update you, to find loads has been going on!

DoomKitty - congratulations on your BFP! You must be over the moon.

Dildoos - glad AF has arrived so you can get started, hopefully they'll let you start this cycle .

Bunny - I'm so sorry it didn't work this cycle, massive hugs to you. hopefully a trip to the slopes and some R & R will get you all refreshed and ready to try again.
How are you holding up?

I had my down regulation scan yesterday, my lining is so thin the nurse couldn't measure it, which apparently is good news, I'm just waiting for confirmation that I can start my stimulation injections tomorrow. I'm keep you posted xx

Yes if you can do the NHS one that has you a positive POA in the meantime you look after yourself and be kind to yourself whilst you recover!

It didn't work for us this cycle 😞 So we've booked a ski trip to Austria next week to cheer us up!

Next plan is to try to get our one go on the NHS next.

I wouldn't say anything to professionals until the appointment is sent through and see what happens in meantime. Is this your first ever BFP?
Take it easy keep up your folic acid. No lifting and contact gp when your appointment through that way you have a back up plan ! X

I'm just in shock tbh. I was convinced that we hadn't timed BD right and that the clomid hadn't done anything as I didn't feel any twinges or anything this cycle. Not sure what happens now

Bunny how you feeling? It's almost a week after transfer, do you test at 10 or 14 days?

Here I'm on the microgynon - I've an appointment on 21st to be taught how to use the injections, blood tests, a scan I think baseline she said? So looking forward to that , I love an appointment as makes me feel a step closer to the goal.

Other than this we've had a flurry of snow and a heavy cold - all the joys and woes of winter.

Guys, my mum was just nagging me to let her know when I come on as I was expecting af on Wednesday, but with not tracking my cycles I assumed the clomid had made it longer. As it's date night I thought I'd better take a test before I have a drink. Then this happens 😲, am I being stupid or is this a bfp?

I've been on another forum with other people going to the same hospital as me. They said it was only a week and a half later for first consultation appointment.

Two is fab doom it takes a little pressure off the first don't you think? patience not my strongest point either. Any inclination given as to whe your consultation may be? X

We get 2 attempts here. Hopefully it will be enough. It was pretty quick really, although waiting is never my strong point 😊.

Doom that's fabby news and very quick (well for me as wasn't waiting !) do you know how many funded attempts your entitled too as I know it alters dependent where you are in the country.
Here in Norfolk it's 1 attempt.

I think I still have a load of microgynon from before TTC lol. Doubt it's still in date, but can check . Might save me the cost of a prescription if that's what they do with me.

Doom, it sounds idyllic , exactly what the doctor ordered I'd say. Always fancied a skiing holiday tried skiing on a dry slope , I would say I was far from a natural and spent most of the evening on my bottom 😂
However the fun I had was fabulous 👍

We're off to the three valleys in the French alps. 😊 Really excited, love the gorgeous Scenery and fresh air and the adrenaline.

Friend collecting my microgynon from clinic today as I don't feel the right thing to do with little ones in tow as unfair on all in clinic too. So I start that today. Seems strange going on the pill to try get a baby . X

That's a coincidence, we decided we're going off skiing if this cycle hasn't worked! Nothing like some mountain air to prepare you and repair you!
