I start down regging on boxing day! I could use some company.

I'm 29 in a few months too so no harm there :) being trying since 26 as well!

I am going to try and wait. only 7 days to go and AF might come before that. really feels like it is coming. been to the toilet twice today thinking it had arrived. don't know what to think anymore. getting upset :(

Spread we are only allowed to put one embryo back 😞 DP and I love the idea of twins but because I went in to early labour and lost my perfect son due to short cervix, carrying two babies is almost impossible for me.

Of course wish, I'm 29 in a few weeks time (DP is 44 ). Started TTC at 26 so puts things in to perspective. I know I'm young but I'm thinking more for DP - don't want him to be the oldest dad at the school gates but he is 'normal age' given where we live in London.

By all means poas but don't get disheartened if it's negative. In my first cycle it was BFN even two days before OTD. Only got a BFP the evening before OTD.

Ooooh Wish - sounding exciting... for some reason I can tell that you're going to poas tomorrow regardless of what anyone says! Love that you're so excited although sorry you're feeling pants...that's the bit you never really think about isn't it.

If you do poas tomorrow, remember it's still early so don't get disheartened in case it's a BFN... but fingers crossed it's a BFP!

so resisting to POAS is become IMPOSSIBLE.

basically had an awful night as I felt feverish. one minute cold and one min hot.

then I woke up this morning with quite bad AF cramps. but sort of different... cant tell what was different only the pains seems to feel further down that usual. regardless probably wishful thinking....

however I also felt a little sicky.

so I am definitely NOT symptom free, although whether the symptoms are good or bad I really don't know :(

5dp5dt today. was gonna test tomorrow with a FRER as technically 11dpo. is this silly? ooooh I am driving myself balmy and I feel rubbish too!

Big week for you Hello - think it's your OTD this week right? Really got everything crossed it's a BFP for you... keep distracted and try NOT to poas as even though I thought I could handle it, when I did the hpt at 9 days post transfer and got a BFN, deep down it devastated me. Ironically having had a chemical before, I was more scared of getting a BFP and then finding out it was a CP.

OMG Tiny, 17 strong embryos is just so amazing. Have you thought about how many you're going to have put back tomorrow? Fancy triplets or quads?!!

Wish, how are you bearing up? Sounds interesting re. New symptoms although honestly, it's all so confusing - my breasts ached so bad in 2ww - and then nothing for two weeks!

I have another blood test on Wed to check HCG level. Did another hpt this morning to check if it had gone from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks. It has!!! Omg this is just so scary... and exciting!

Hi mist I've been prescribed something called Dostinex (?!). When is your OTD? Can't be too far away now! Have you had any temptations to poas?

I've been put on baby aspirin. Anyone else? I didn't have this before.

Tiny what is the anti ohss medication? Just curious.

When I thought I might have mild ohss I was told (as well as water) eat plenty of protein and try to walk around regularly (helps with any fluid buildup). Also heard to drink Gatorade/similar and possibly salty foods but not sure if the clinic would recommend those. It doesn't hurt to inform clinic as they could give you some advice and should be keeping an eye/tabs on you if there's a worry of it worsening.

Wish AF type cramps I think could be a good sign (as much as a bad one) though it might be a bit early on to be able to read much into it yet. Try not to worry at least!

Spread if I seem calm that's an illusion! Though I am doing my best to keep busy and distracted as I know from experience that dwelling on this does me no good. Thoughts have started to creep in about what if it's bfp but then the same happens as last time (CP). The waiting will be followed by more waiting...

That's exciting about the symptoms wish! Be careful not to symptom spot too much. I was convinced I was pregnant during my FET 2ww because I had sore boobs and vivid dreams but it just turned out that progesterone mimics pregnancy symptoms. I did have on and off AF cramps when I got pregnant with my first fresh cycle though so that's a promising sign you're getting crampy?!

AFM, I got another call from the clinic with a Day 3 update. ALL our embryos have survived to Day 3 and all are good quality with the exception of 2 that are poor quality and even if they survive to Day 5 will be too poor quality to freeze. So that still leaves us with 17 good quality embryos all growing at the same rate. I'm in complete shock! Booked in for ET Tuesday morning. Eep!!

I'm in Lancashire.

So this morning 3 days post 5day transfer I have what I would class as I couple for symptoms that weren't there before??

One is I'm ermhh... very "wet" down there (noticed when putting in the suppositories (sorry tmi!!!)

And the other is on and off mild af cramps and other funny tummy pains. Mild and intermittent though.....

Me too Spread :) that's why I ask. In one of the IVF threads I was on last year, every single one of us lived about 10 miles from one another. Small world!

I think I have mild OHSS too. I'm feeling really nauseous, dehydrated and really sore in my abdomen - feel like really bad AF cramps. Ouch 🤕

Wish - defo keep up with the water. I know it bloats more but it'll flush you out.

yeah I think I do have mild OHSS, but not sure what to do about it. I am better today, and I don't know if I should bother contacting the clinic. I will try and drink more fluids though- seems counterintuitive though because when you are bloated you don't want to drink more lol

Sorry about the bloating Wish if it gets really unbearable go to A&E but I think you have mild OHSS.

Just got the call from the clinic... 19 eggs fertilised !! I'm gobsmacked. Especially as DP had a boys lunch which involved lots of booze the day before EC (I was furious and upset that it might affect his sperm and had a real big go at him). Ha!

tiny you got 1 more egg than me! :D how did the fertilisation do? 10 fertilised for me (well 16 but there were various things wrong with them).

guys last night was awful. I was really bloated (one day post ET) and in a lot of pain. felt like it was trapped wind all the way up to my shoulders!!

took paracetamol but nothing changed. I was in so much pain I would have rung ER about OHSS if it weren't for the fact that I was weeing normally.

and then in the morning today I was fine! well I am sore, but not in the same way! I could call my clinic but I am not sure what the point is... I mean what can they do?...

today is 2 days post ET and day 7 for the embryo. Hatching should be commencing and then hopefully implantation!!

spread I am so so happy for you. hope the bloods and scans carry on being positive!

Hi wish only had EC hopefully ET on Tuesday then I'm on the dreaded wait. I'll know more once I get the call from the clinic today. I'm a bit sore from EC but no where near as bad as last time. Because they took so many eggs I am on prescription medication for 8 days to stave off OHSS.

Spread forgot to mention that I don't think one can get their period while on progesterone so who knows what it was, heavy implantation bleeding? In my last pregnancy when I was 7 weeks I got a big gush of blood in my knockers... remember it well as I was in Geneva about to board a flight and as soon as we landed I got DP to drive me straight to A&E thinking I was having a miscarriage but they say bleeds are common in the first 12 weeks as your body starts to adjust and make room for the new life growing inside and its probably just burst capillaries or something.


Are we all geographically close to one another? Just curious. I'm in SW London

I feel like I'm permanently waiting! Waited for 2ww, then 48 hour second blood test, then I'm now waiting for a third blood test next Wednesday and then scan on 8 Feb! Honestly it's driving me nuts ... good news is bleeding stopped and am starting to feel a bit pregnant dare I say it! Technically if I am pregnant, I'm 5 weeks today... just wish scan was now so this waiting game is over! But then I know I'll be so scared all the way through... arrrgghhhh

Anyway, HelloMist, you sound wonderfully calm. Well done you. Hope you're going easy and thinking positively.

Didn't bleed at all in first pregnancy so no idea what this is about but thankfully it slowly seems to be stopping now. Weird. Guess I just have to wait for scan to see what's going on in there!

Hooray wish!!! You are officially PUPO! I hate ET too... but for me it's because the clinic asks that we go in with a half-full bladder... during my FET last year I drank loads of water to make sure I was half full and I was DYYYYYIIINNGGG for a wee and the assistant was pressing on my bladder with the ultrasound thing while the woman was putting the embie back in. I honestly thought I was going to wee all over her.
