Hi everyone, I'm new to this website and relatively new to IVF.
I just turned 45, didn't ever think I'd still be without a child at my age or having to try IVF. I hear you... I'm over the hill. It's just that I've travelled alot and moved to Australia and got married late.. what can I say!
A year ago I was forced to move to IVF as I was diagnosed with early borderline ovarian cancer and will need to remove my ovaries (well, probably the whole lot down there sooner rather than later!). I'd only really been trying to conceive for 6 months prior to that diagnosis so it came as a real shock and disappointment.
