Press coverage in Ukraine

This may be a silly question but it's something that's been playing on my mind watching the news coverage in Ukraine.
There are some big name press/journalists over there - Rohit Kachroo, James Mates etc covering the news in Ukraine, where are they sheltering/staying?
I mean no where is safe but they always seem to be ok and safe so I just wondered if they have some sort of extra protection or knowledge on where to stay safe while covering the news over there.

Well someone from the Sky press team got shot so I dont think they have any sort of special protection. They gave their body armour and press badges that is supposed to stop people shooting them obviously doesnt work though.

The sky team were badly injured. Those that are in Ukraine are doing something very important. The old president said to Alex Crawford (Sky) that he appreciated them being there because it was the only way the story would be told. Bravery to choose to be in a situation such as war.

I always think that whenever I see Lyse Doucet - she’s never anywhere safe! Not just Ukraine but in general, she’s always standing in a helmet somewhere.
But I agree, these ones recently have seemed very much in the thick of it, I think it was Jeremy Bowen I saw today lying on the floor talking to the camera. I assume they have a lot of local contacts and support.
