galen I hope your cold doesn't stick around for long

I think I am going to give up on the meal planner for the evening and start it tomorrow. DP has just thrown the majority of my baking cupboard away, shamefully out of date I promise that I bought brand new ingredients for my mum's birthday cake

grouchy for "ted's" tooth (ds was looking at the pic this morning and said Ted and your rl name, bless him.

£10 for a took , I'd expect to pay that for a whole mouthful

go tooth fairy pays at a flat rate of £1 per tooth in my house
greyskull at £10- the madness!
scatty cant blame hime for trying!!

we just had dinner and i got ds to eat green beans and carrot as well as her peas. although she is stil insisting she didnt eat the carrot i put it in her mouth when she wasnt watching shat i was doing, she had several small mouthfuls of it and didnt notice- so won't be allowing the 'i don't likes'when applied to carrot anymore

have done everything off this mornings list except wash the floors will do that when dc are in bed

LOL Ruby!

DS seems to think the tooth fairy brings a toy (no chance). He also thought if he stopped brushing his teeth they would fall out and he'd get loads of new toys .

Done:
Lidl

To do
evening stuff.

I will have to remember to make sure I have a little cash in the house - What happens if the tooth comes out and you have no cash,... is it possible to have the toothfairy delayed by fog or snow or something?

Hang on £10 per toothy peg?

Quick calculation. 20 teeth at £10 each makes £200 and I'd be tempted to assume she'd give more for the bigger ones

Geeze Louise, mine only went for 10p a time. £10 each, are they gold? or was the TF paying in advance, y'know, cost of petrol and sat navs

He got some Bob the Builder toys for his 1st one. (DH feeling guilty as he could have prevented it happening) and the Fairy brought him a leap pad for being brave at the dentist. This is a standard fall out so it's a standard swap of fang for £

Well done Ed!

Report

Been to collect Ed from School and

Mumsy bit

His 1st tooth has fallen out !

Well it's his 3rd out, the 1st was knocked out by a Brio railway bridge support and the dentist took the 2nd out. This one came out when he bit his lunchtime apple. It has no root so it's a natural loss of milk tooth

Awwwh it was the 1st one he cut too

Hi again Herbwoman you are doing really well and even cleaning out your car on a Friday! I'm impressed.
dyls hoping dd is ok
swan at the cat sweeping and brilliant on the gardening. Can't wait to get a garden I can do someting in (we have a huge one in our rented house, but it is all lawn and we aren't allowed to dig anythng up to put in flowers or vegetables. Plus it is all exposed on 4 sides so the whole world can see you in your garden so you don't feel like being in it. new house (I'm counting my chickens - better stop!) has a fully enclosed back garden yay!

hello to everyoneelse

ds seems better after two hours' sleep. Both seem to be enjoying an afternoon off. We are just on the PC printing out photos for a scrap book.

Swan Just had visions of you sweeping your cat so vigorously that he whooshed off through the air over the fence . Or is that what actually happened? Sounds like you've done well though

Back from school. DD noticed that I'd vacced the car (it must have been bad).

Off to do the ironing now.

of those of you with gardens.
its a lovely sring day here too. i had to take off my coat walking to school its was so warm

have collected a rather grumpy ds.
he wasn't impressed that i had walked. (normally end up driving to school on fri afternoon due to lack of time with dd's dance class.)

i impressed him more by saying that next week i'll be off as well cos of dd's chicken pox so we would be walking every morning and everynight.

he has stropped off to his room now!!

It's a lovely spring day here, so took courage and tried to clean up garden for two hours, nothing creative just cutting back and chucking old compost out of pots. Feel like it needs two full days of work. But have made a big bag of rubbish and collected up all the old balls, old garden labels hiding in flowerbeds under dead leaves. Cat is keeping me company except when I sweep then he whooshes off.
But I still haven't planted my primroses baah, nor daffs neither Herbwoman...positioned the p's for effect though! compost is too heavy to lug thro house, and wheelbarrow can't get past bikes in shed .
Wolf hope your mum is pleased with meringue iced cake! I must train my dcs to make me lovely cakes.

Now to scrub mud from fingernails and off to school pickup. And quickly sweep bit outside backdoor.
