Hi all, I got up cause I went to bed really early and then I woke up and DH was snoring Hmm.

Adora Yes but I think I might try to wear it more often. I have to take it off to wash up etc. DH needs to be nagged at sometimes before he helps out. I do appreciate it when he helps but I sometimes wish I didn't need to ask him.
I feel that he goes out to work so I should do most of the other stuff but it is a bit hard when you are sporting various health issues.

Zoo 1.00 club might be good but I still have DD home in the afternoons till September then she starts school.
We could give it a try. Wink
Hope scoutcat is o.k. now.

Smile

We had hot water yesterday afternoon, yay, so I had a nice hot shower, double yayGrin. Of course it's foggy this morning and due to be overcast so I don't hold out much hope for today or tomorrow.

Zoo poor cat, would it be worth seeing the vet or is it just a case of reassuring him?

Cats do you use the support only when it's painful? Could be you need it more long term. I know it's frustrating when Drs refuse to X-ray.

My morning routine is done, I need some breakfast now. Teddy Bear is back from the vet and looking goodGrin

Will update later

Hallo iZombie-digging the nameSmile!

we have had a disaster strikeSad-
scoutcat went out on monday morning and dissapeared-id planned ot check in here at lunchtime but spent most day hunting locally for him in tearsanyway i heard him jump up to open the front door at 9.30pm

he came in wild eyed, tale thick and jumped at every soundSad
i suspect he has been shut in somewhere or tormented by kids as tuesday morning he was fearful of zoolets, evgrowl and spit at them by teatime he was climbing on me a lot and rub endlessly round my face like when we first got him from the rescue centre so i spent allday reasurring him and keep zoolets away from him...today he ran out after us when we went to shops and he followed up on a 20min walk howling allway, refusing to let me pick up and take home..he was panting with fear on the way back and had to keep stopa nd lay down, the zollets were sobbing and i was frightened he was gune have a heart attackSadSad

on flying front i have managed to get front room back and relocated worksurfaces in kitchen

todays ta dahs
fed dcs
fed cats
swish bathroom
shopping/shepherding cat home
snack
shopping away
hotspot front room

scoutcat now akip on sofa now
dcs are upstairs wrecking bedrooms playing playmobil pirates and dinosaurs

good to see cats about
bessie will dig out recipe and post either later today or tomorrow

Such weird weather -- very glad I decided we were having an at home day of tackling the house, games & toys and CBeebies. I have been on fire this morning.

Morning all, I am up showered and dressed Yay! Smile --this is progress for this time of day in holiday mode-- I still need to have breakfast.

My wrist is in a support strap after I had an agonizing pain in it yesterday. I have been to the doc on numerous occasions about it, they won't xray it. Hmm Confused All they say is I should rest it, almost impossible when you are the main carer/housekeeper. This been going on since June last year!
I am going to try to rest it but someone has to look after everything. DH has a week off from tomorrow so hopefully he will help out.
Maybe I will have to start using paper plates Wink

bessie hope you have a lovely holiday! Smile

Adora you have my sypathies about the lack of hot water.

Welcome zombie Smile

Good to see you again cats and scout!

zombie - how did you get on in the kutchen?

we're off on holiday tomorrow, so I have the day of work to sort things out & pack DH wants me to pick the kids up from nursery (so he can work late) & I have a HUGE list of things to do. Have made the executive decision that my (slighly minging) hair is fine for going to the supermarket, so that's one less thing I have to do this morning!

Good to see you Cats, hope DD gets better very soon. How is your wrist now?

Things are ticking over here, morning routine is done, DDs packed off to school, I'm having a quiet coffee before leaping into action. Our hot water is playing up, the boiler doesn't get serviced because here they just don't, and it's a fancy pants forrin bit of kit. This all means that when we have a week or two of cloudy weather, like now, we have no hot water.

Today I have phone calls to make and then general keeping on top of things and clearing tat and toot out.

Morning all,

had a bad time recently but hoping things will get better now. DD had a bad case of Flu followed by a chest infection Sad but is starting to get back to normal now. Smile

I feel the need to try and regain some control of my house again. Might not manage to check in often but will try.

Having breakfast at the mo but will then be off to get dressed. Wink

Hope everyone is o.k. Smile

Coffee/ breakfast for family
Added Protien and salad to the pasta for packed lunch
Rubbish emptied, OH put dustbin out
Waved DDs off and made another coffee
My breakfast
Dogs fed, OH actually presented them with food but I chopped up some slightly wrinkly apples to add to their normal food.

Have to wait in today in case OH's luggage turns up, nada yesterday.

Loving your name Adora, a favourite character:)

Yesterday was a bust here. Had to do an out of the house day. Once my painkillers kick in today I'm waging war in the kitchen. Need to set the magic breadbox going so have to find some counter space for it. More laundry as well. Mind you, with three kids and a tendency to hoarde there's always laundry to do:o

Hello Cats hope you get some Z's very soon, wassup?

Bessie absolutely all mess in one room, 'specially of you can close the door[buwink]

Ta Da's

Morning routine, and school run
Back home to shower- no bleeding hot water
Fed dogs
Tidied kitchen
Emptied DW and refilled, flicked the switch
Made bed
S&S'd bathroom
Went to airport, OH's plane was an hour late so after loitering on by the stairs I gave up and got a coffee
Back home with OH, but minus OH's luggage. Change over in Brazil didn't leave time to transfer luggage from 1st plane to 2nd, but they told him they had, so he waited at the carousel.
Spot of lunch
School run- realised that DD1 isn't just being lazy, she told a friend she's making mess all over the house because she doesn't want to move - her reasoning is no one wants to buy a pigsty, but we still need to sell it.
Back home
Looked through house details OH brought back from UK, not that we can do anything unless this sells.
Dinner

Still to do,

Assemble packed lunch for tomorrow, pasta for salad is cooked and cooling.
Feed dogs again
Make sure DD's bags are ready for tomorrow
Sit down with a vino - Bessie I head butted the gate before the vino, still rather sore today, but no headache

I'm at work tues/weds so prob won't get much chance to post. Got Thursday off (child-free) though - yay! After tidying our bedroom today, our dumping dining room is looking even worse. I figured that if we were going to have a messy room, it may as well contain ALL the mess, right? #hopeful. Bedroom looks good though.

welcome!

Like the wine mixing adora - has that got anything to do with you walking into the gate? [buwink]

Yes please to recipe zoo We made chocolate nests on sat & I want to attempt hot cross buns later (need to go re-read recipe to check how difficult it sounds!!)

Hair/facial on sat was lovely thanks. DH was most peeved that I I considerately booked it for a Saturday when the golf course was open, but hey-ho!

I dragged EVERYTHING out from under our bed this morning. Forget about dust-bunnies, there were dust-elephants under there! Got DH to vacuum everywhere (this is supposed to be his weekend chore, but he needs reminding) and then threw the windows open as we have SUNSHINE! [Bugrin]

Now I have to have a quick look at the 3 bags of clothes [bublush] that were hiding under the bed. Sorting them properly will be a job for another day (I CBA to try stuff on right now) but I'm hoping I might be able to identify some items to go straight to the charity pile.

My kitchen is a mess, but everyone has eaten and all I need to do for packed lunches in the morning is slice off a bit off chicken and rinse some lettuce. I'm sitting up to check the TV just after midnight to see if our clocks here are changing. The powers that be delayed it again and I can't find any info.

Spilt red wine upstairs this evening, I'll have open a bottle of white now to clean upGrin

I played ball with DDs for a while but our game was cut short by me whacking my forehead on the rather sturdy metal gate[bublush]

School run tomorrow am, then bak to have a whizz round before collecting OH from his long haul flight.

Sounds like you've done very well Zoo well done and I'm glad you're feeling more positive.

Bessie how did the hair/facial go?

See you all tomorrow

My big two are out tomorrow, so the small one and I might do the other half of the bathroom. Threw out a lot of stuff earlier, but the cosmetics bucket needs gutting and I could do with taking an angle grinder to the underside of the sink where the kids hide toothpaste:/
