Which turquoise?

Family bathroom is nearly finished, and I just can’t decide which turquoise the pain the walls above the tiles. Please vote! Or do be honest if you hate both; I can take it.

Of the two blues I prefer the darker one you went with but I actually prefer the colour of the plaster. Bit obsessed with pink paint colours at the moment because DH is refusing to let me paint any room pink. I might have to do it by stealth.

Late to the party, I’d have voted bolder and it’s looks ace! You must be very pleased with the result.

Wow, I'm a bit late to the party (just signed up yesterday), but I have to say that is absolutely gorgeous. Good choice OP!

It’s done! And I love it. I’m so glad I went bold. Dh really likes it too despite his apprehension. Dd hasn’t said much beyond demanding to be the first one to try out the bath!

(Note: the airing cupboard door is open because the paint isn’t fully dry. It does shut properly normally.)

It's exactly what I have been looking for since January Grin. Thanks a lot, and come back and show us your finished bathroom. Both the turquoises are gorgeous, btw. I have Crown Dragonfly in mine, which is a bit brighter than it appears on screen. Probably close to the one you selected.

Ummh they are Serac honed marble tiles from Topps Tiles. Suitable for floors too.

OP, what are those gorgeous grey tiles behind? Are they for floors too? They look like exactly what I have been looking for, lol.

I'd go with the L&G paint - have just decorated with L&G for the first time and it was a dream.

I like the darker. You could use both on different walls but I think all dark would look fab!

Brill. Please come back and show us the finished room!

Darker colour, be bold!

Another vote for the darker shade!

Honestly, you should trust my endorsement and go with your instinct. It will be much, much nicer with the darker colour.

Thanks everyone! Pretty even results now. Hmm. I have to make a decision today, so will be doing some more intense staring at walls and trying to imagine the whole thing!

I like the bolder darker one. I think k the other will look a bit washed out next to the rest of the decor.

I ended up down a rabbit hole looking at paint colours! I do agree about darker colours, I love super dark (like f&b studio green) but I'm just not a fan of that colour of paint itself.
Tricky choice OP but the herringbone marble is gorgeous so it'll look great regardless I think!

Darker one, for a sharper look

I prefer the darker one, the other one looks a bit bland to me, or wishy washy. I suppose if you done an area with the lighter one, it would be easier to go over with darker if you don't like it.

Also dark colours don’t always make a space seem smaller.

No, go with it. Darker colours don’t necessarily make a room look darker. Especially if you’ve got a big window.

Lighter walls, go to the darker side in towels. Going so dark in random blocks of wall will overpower and make the room feel smaller & the darker the paint the more you see condensation when it gets steamy.
