Painting internal doors and skirtings dilemma

I am in the process of decorating my hallway. I painted inside the front door Farrow and Ball pavillion grey but I dislike it. I really want to paint it downpipe or hague blue or french grey.

However my hallway is small with light coloured floorboards and is very much a thoroughfare only. Leading off it are four doors, all of which are currently white. I was wondering if I painted inside the front door, if I should then paint all the sides of the internal doors in the hallway the same colour?

Alternatively, I could paint the skirtings and inside the front door only a 'colour' and leave the doors white but I think this might look odd if I paint the architraves around the internal doors but leave them white?

Has anyone painted their halls like this or does anyone have any ideas?

When I originally painted the wooden door, I put a primer on it that was white but I didn't particularly like it. I'd like to make an otherwise very ordinary hall more contemporary I've been looking at too many interior blogs I think

We've always painted the back of the front door white, irregardless of the outside colour?

Thank you. That sounds very nice. I think it is lovely to have some natural wood in the area and your oak doors sound very nice. The only wood I will have is the stair handrail although the floor is a pale wood too (its ok, not great but affordable).

Not painted but we have a charcoal composite front door which is v similar to Downpipe. We have white skirting (F&B All White) and white staircase (rail & spindles etc) but left 1930s original internal doors natural (oak). It looks lovely (I think). I'd paint your front door but keep your doors and woodwork as white.
