Hi
I'm going to take my daughter to Cyprus I think in June, she's had MH problems and off school for months and feel some time away (professionals agree suband holiday is a good idea) in the sun would be great
She LOVES history and wondered what experience anyone had of Cyprus and whether I should hire an car and take her to ruins or to go with TUI tours (likely holiday reps we'll use)
TIA

No need to hire a car, they have an excellent (clean, safe, reliable) bus service which goes to all the sights and the water park - although the water is not heated…

There are great ruins near Paphos, the Paphos archaeological site is brilliant but be careful inside the unlit buildings I fell in one and tore my rotator cuff.

I would definitely hire a car. Head towards Limassol, where there are some places of interest, and Paphos. Lots of beautiful beaches, fantastic food and a lovely safe place.

I would hire a car and organise your own trips.

There are more archeological sites towards the Paphos end of the island.

Which part of Cyprus are you visiting? We did the Tui trip to Verosha, North Cyprus which was excellent
