Has anyone ever been here? Looking at it for summer 2022.

It had a very laid back atmosphere yes but I also didn't go out at night. Think we mostly ate and chilled out at the house and only wandered around the town in the daytime.

I remember it being pretty laid back but have to admit I wasn't looking to go out clubbing!Grin

Thanks. The surfing is the draw for DS who will be 14 so not too little hopefully and he'd get lessons even though he thinks he's a pro. Was there much to the town in terms of nightlife - is it pretty laid back?

We stayed there when I was pregnant with my now 18 year old Ds and my now 23 year old Dd, how time flies!
It was lovely and it's made my think how lovely it would be to return.
I think we stayed here

I would second not going with young children. Gorgeous beaches but very strong sea currents and big waves.

I went years ago and would love to go back. Amazing beaches and atmosphere. Close to Bordeaux and various other places for day trips. We rented a tiny but gorgeous beach house. The sea is good for experienced/older surfers etc but the waves were strong and it was windy. There might be other areas to go if you've got little ones.

Just watch - it was sunny but very windy on the beach so never felt too hot. As a consequence I got horrendous, horrendous sunburn all over. I had a literal hole in my shoulder and was in agony for months. So cover up!!!
