I'm going on Friday. I've packed leggings, jeans, hoodies, a fleece, tshirts to go under, and a light jacket. My xp had his passport stolen on las ramblas a good few years ago.
I keep my money, phone etc in a travel belt under my top when visiting since.

I think the weather is usually six weeks ahead of us here in the south of the U.K. So think what you’d typically wear at the end of February beginning of March.
It’s not a rainy month and the sun is brighter (that’s the six weeks ahead thing) so take sunglasses.
It’s still winter chilly when there’s no sun and the locals will all be in padded jackets, scarves and hats.
I normally pack a pair of leather type trousers as you can wipe stuff off easily (!) and a vest top with something slouchy on top ( maybe thinner or sparklier for the evening) plus a big scarf. Flat boots for walking.
I also like a swim even in January so pack a costume.

I love Barcelona. If you're heading there though, particularly Las Ramblas, make sure you wear your handbag in front of you even when dining. Have it on your lap, don't put valuables in your pockets and if using a backpack, wear it on your chest. It is awful for pickpockets and thieves. I bought DH a backpack with a combination lock so he wore it behind him and a couple of times when standing I watched men staring intently at it and then walking towards it in a wide open space (no reason to be near us.) One got right up to us and didn't notice me giving him the "Off you fuck!" Face until he reached out and I said "OI!"
My silly dad who wouldn't take my advice regarding not using pockets (because he knew it wouldn't happen to him and I was overreacting) managed to have his wallet lifted. He lost cash totalling about £500 as we were heading home and it was leftover Euros and a couple of hundred quid he'd need on the way home to pay the dog sitter. Fuck knows why he had it on him.

Layers. As a p p said nippy in the shade and at night, but delightful during the day.

I recommend Bodega Biarritz for food!

We were there last week. Light layers, inc a coat. It was warm in the sun, but nippy in a breeze/shade. Chilly at night.

That said, apparently it was 20c 2 weeks ago - the locals were complaining how freezing it was!

So , same as you would wear UK in April May tune. Will get cool in evenings
