5 hour Stopover in Frankfurt with an 18 month old
tinyfeet · 09/09/2003 14:48
Hi, we are going on vacation with crazy routing through Germany. We will have 5 hours to kill in Frankfurt with DD who is 18 months old. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep her occupied. I will check the pushchair at the gate, so we will be able to use it in Frankfurt, but don't know if we should attempt to keep her occupied at the airport or get out for some freshair and get some lunch or something like that. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

We stopped over in Frankfurt but did not leave the airport. It is a fair-sized airport with shops, restaurants and facilities. Ds found plenty of things to look at and do. I would not take the chance of leaving the airport during a short stopover in case some problem arose and I missed the connection, but I suppose you could. I think there is a plan of the airport on the Lufthansa website.
