Ds has his heart set on applying to Salford. He loves Manchester, the course looks great and he wants to be in a city with lots going on (music, theatre etc)
But the course has a very low acceptance rate. It’s tough to get a place. Everyone is interviewed and auditioned. Huddersfield do a great course too thats highly renowned.
He is only year 11 so has some leeway but we’d planned on doing open days this summer. It’s very important he feels comfortable with The vibe of a place (asd). What is Huddersfield like as a place to live & study. I see it’s half an hour on the train from Leeds or Manchester. Is that viable for a night out?
