😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

That is hilarious! What an absolute fool!!! I can vouch that it didn’t kill me, grow or turn into an alien being! It did, however, destroy my brain….🤪

I've had this lots of times. It's strange and I'm not sure what causes it. It goes after a couple of days. Def like a bruise. X

Ahh this tickled me 😁 thank you OP!!

Pretty late to the party but thought I'd share!

I have a bachelor's in health but I'm no expert, nor a doctor. My guess is that it's a cluster of tiny bruises. I get this a few days after I've rested my chin on my hand for any extended period of time (in class, etc.). Because the skin on your neck is thinner than most of the skin on your body, it may be more prone to bruising (perhaps the same reason "hickeys" happen so easily lol). Like pinkapple1 already mentioned, I believe the medical term for this sign/symptom is called petechiae (pronounced puh·tee·kee·uh). But it's always best to talk to a healthcare professional about this if you're concerned, as it could be a sign of a condition such as anemia.

Did anyone ever find out what this is? I've got the same rash/spots under my chin. It's come, gone and come back again over the past week or so. Any ideas?

Omg, I have that. yesteray i got a mild cold, feeling sore throat and a little fatigue and today that under chin rash very very red and a bunch of dots. im convinced its a new illness.. similar to hand foot mouth coxachi virus. but more mild. or maybe a secondary outbreak.

That's interesting. I have been resting my chin on my hand whilst working on the computer, so maybe it's just that. It hasn't really changed today. Odd that it seems to have flared up now, I don't think it's an unusual position for me.... I'll just have to see how long it takes to go down I suppose. X

I’ve created bruising like that from scratching with blunt nails before, perhaps you have done it in your sleep?

I was gong to say the same thing. I've had similar to this when I've scratched myself in my sleep.

?love bite? Or have you done that thing where you rest your chin on the edge of a glass and suck the air out to create a vacuum so the glass sticks to your chin?

Allergy? My face once came out in loads of them and then went down a few days later. GP thought it was a reaction to something

I did this once when I was, rather disgustingly-sorry, squeezing spots on my chin. Have you been squeezing pores?

I don't know about yours, but mine wasn't like a bruise, it didn't hurt at all, I think it's just a thing that happens and it's little burst capillaries or whatever they are, you could have even done it in your sleep

I know when I looked in the mirror and saw that on my chin I immediately thought I was going to die somehow! But once I calmed down and put it on fb for help I calmed down! 😂

Have you been swimming at all? Could be bruising from a bungled dive or jump into the water?
