On holiday skiing. I fell over and smacked my head hard on floor yesterday lunch time. Back of head. I was dazed for a few seconds but managed to get myself down slope. Had headache which passed with paracetamol. Not unconscious at all, pupils ok, no confusion or slurred speech etc. But painful neck/shoulders and glands in neck??. Didn't drink last night and stayed in hotel today. Still got two days of skiing left. Should I or shouldn't I? Rest of family have been without me today. Feel like I'm letting them down/spent so much money to get here!

It is totally up to how you feel. I had a similar on the ice rink. I didn't feel like anything for a few days. If you don't fancy it, don't do it. If you do, then it is fine.

Yes wearing a helmet. Everywhere seems to be shutting for new years and I'm honestly a bit embarrassed to ask a Dr.
