I have hardly any slug / snail problems in my garden thanks to my Frog Army. However, my yard is another matter. I have a dozen or so pots including several cherished hosted which are being RAVAGED by the buggers at the moment (presumably all the extra rain.)
Today I planted up some verbenas in a pot, tuned round LESS THAN A MINUTE LATER to fin a massive orange slug munching the bloody thing! In broad daylight.
Apart from slug pubs & regular pick-and-squish missions is there a cat / toddler - friendly method of destruction?
Would it be completely bonkers to catch a few frogs and shut them in the yard one night? Or would this just be mean?
