Back to the Future (without a doubt)
Can I sneak in Pretty Woman even though it's 1990 WinkWink

Steel Magnolias

Beaches

Breakfast Club (as everyone has already mentioned)

Weird Science

Uncle Buck

9 to 5

But I also like all the action films too, so Die Hard, Rambo, Rocky etc

Another vote for Overboard! I love that film so much, Goldie Hawn is hilarious Grin.

Another one was Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I found Breakfast Club a bit dull and I was the right age to watch it. I loved Pretty in Pink but the last time I watched it I noticed loads of flaws.

I had a similar experience with drinking Tizer.

Sometimes you should never go back.

Breakfast Club is very "of its time"
everybody can identify either themselves or one of their friends in it
but the acting and music are just fab
if you were a teenager when it came out you'll get it

walking on sunshine is a good nod back to the 80's though not made in the 80's. fun for a girls night in for singing and dancing to.

yy to heathers and the princess bride. Smile

What about Labyrinth or Fast Times at Ridgemont High?
Stand By Me is probably a bit too much of a downer.

Raging Bull and Scarface are also both 80s films, though perhaps not the right vibe.

I am going to binge watch 80s movies now.
