Brave - Suitable for a six year old?

Thinking of taking DD to see this as it's on as a Kids AM special at our local cinema over the holidays - see it's a PG though - Anyone seen it with their children? Would it be OK for a 6 year old do you think?

I haven't seen it but DH has and he says it's a bit scary in places. There's a big bear in it which he thought might freak out our (sensitive ) DD who is nearly 6. DH also said it is a very good film though! Check out www.imdb.com as that gives all plot and scary happenings details.

Depends how hardy she is.

We went with our 8yo DS and 10yo DD. DS was a bit scared at the big scary bear, but just hid his eyes and blocked his ears.

My DB took his 4yo and she was sobbing.

My brother took my 4 year old ds he loved it and wasn't scared. Think it depends on the child

I took DDs age 4 and 5. Dd1 had to hide behind the seat at one point but we had a chat about happy endings. DD 2 loved it.
