Here's the latest from Merched Cymru - Schools Campaign

For the next three school weeks we'll be focusing on Welsh Government's consultation on the new RSE Statutory Guidance and Code. We don't think it's good enough. We support every child's right to high quality, accurate, inclusive and safe sex and relationships education; but if RSE is mandatory from age 3 to 16 learners and parents need to be sure it meets the expected standard.

Please check out our website for more details, including a downloadable flyer in Welsh and English to help you spread the word, and links to other resources. Everyone who cares about children and young people's education, rights and well-being needs to get their voice heard. The consultation is open until Friday 16 July

Thanks MC. Have been spending rather a lot of time in the Bluestocking but will check this out tomorrow and get my consultation response sent in. From what I've heard the RSE guidance in Wales is seriously problematic. Sigh.

I need guidance when it comes to filling out these consultations!! Nice to know I don't have to fill every box.

Not sure everyone in Wales realises what's going down with sex ed.
Get the grannies out I say, that'll shift them pretty quick lol!
