Fertility struggle **help!**

👋 hello,
I am a new member here and have never posted anything like this before, but I require some help and advise please!

my partner and I have been trying for almost 2 years now to conceive! Been waiting in queue for bus fertility clinic for over 8 months and finally got an appointment last week! I do however feel it has been a waste of a wait! I was checked and my womb and ovaries are all okay so have been told to just keep trying!!

we have tried everything but I am unsure if I am ovulation each month!! I do try at home ovulation tests for almost a year but they always are negative. My periods are as regular as they can be every 28 days!!

I do have 2 previous children from a past relationship they are now ade 12 & 13, my partner had trouble with his ex and tried one round of ivf which didn’t work…

any suggestion of anything that can help us? Fertility clinic don’t seem to be offering me any help or advice other than to keep trying! Can’t try any harder than we are! We have unprotected sex every day and have done for over a year!

Not sure where you're based but would highly recommend getting a blood test that covers everything fertility wise and checks things such as: FSH, LH, Oestradiol, AMH, Prolactin . I've been told to do this on cycle days 2-4 to review everything and rule things out completely as my fertility clinic via NHS never did this.

I used Proov confirm tests last month to confirm ovulation and booked a private scan that confirmed follicle size. You want to look for clinics that offer follicle tracking.

Then if you ovulate it's a progesterone blood test to confirm ovulation with a number. The Proov tests do this but don't give a number and cheaper option. Depends on your ability to fund yourself I guess along with patience on waiting for the clinic too
