Copper/non hormonal coil

Hi,

Could anyone tell me how long a copper coil should be ok for? DS2 turned 6 on the weekend and I suddenly realised that I had it fitted when he was about 6 months old.

It depends, they may have given you a choice when you had it in of 5 or 10 years. I had a 5 year one.... So don't just assume its for 10
