How can the MAP effect my period?

I took the MAP last Friday and at the same time got a prescription to start the pill (have been off for 3 years).

I was due this week and am normally pretty regular. On Wednesday I had warning signs that it was on it's way and started taking the pill. However, the warning signs have not developed into anything and now there's no sign of a period at all.

Is there a chance the MAP has something to do with this, combined with starting the pill?

Thank you Queen. I've got a test and will probably try on Monday. It's probably a bit early to do it now.

Either one could mess up your cycle (last time I took the MAP my periods were all over the place for months afterwards). You might want to POAS to make sure the MAP worked though.
