I came off of Microgynom in September this year - having been on it for seven and a half years. I had a period exactly a month later, it lasted five days and all seemed fine. On the 24th of October I had a colposcopy examination in hospital during which I had a punch biopsy taken. My period was due (if I go by my one in October) exactly a week ago but it has not shown. I have had period pain for over a week, did a pregnancy test on Saturday which was negative - I was 5 days late on Saturday. I am now wondering whether the colposcopy has affected my period has anyone else experiened this? Also, any advice on when or if I should go to the Doctor, could I be pregnant? I have brought some more pregnancy tests and was going to do them in the next few days. I don't feel any different in myself however but have never been pregnant before. Not sure if maybe my body is just settling down still as well after coming off the pill. Any advice or experience greatly appreciated!
