"wash-up": These are the few days between a GE being called and Parliament being automatically dissolved

Since any unfinished business is lost at dissolution,
usually the Government & Opposition co-operate during "wash-up" to quickly pass bills or parts of bills that both agree on, that are still in progress

PMK Placemarking, a.k.a.
Place mat king (happened because
of an autocorrect)
Plaice Mat King
Plaice Cat King ( because cats can
lower the rising blood pressure. Dogs/other pets can substitute cat)

= OMG (another autocorrect episode)

FUBAR is US Army slang.

In the Navy it is SNAFU - Situation Normal All 'Fouled' Up.

See Also -

Men In Suits - The senior party figures who visit a failing Tory PM and hand over the pearl-handled revolver (which is a metaphor, btw.)

MV3 (1, 2, 4 etc): Meaningful Vote 3

The government repeatedly bringing back the same motion (the Meaningful Vote on the WA), in direct contravention of Erskine May, Parliamentary protocol of many centuries (since 1604?) Hmm

The Kyle-Wilson Amendment - An amendment which endorses May's Deal but only if it is supported by the public after a vote. In short a referendum on May's Deal.

This amendment comes from Labour benches and may or may not be endorsed by the Labour front bench. (no decision yet).

It is not yet fully drafted. As it stands as I post this there isn't any detail on what the alternatives on the ballot would be, nor detail on what would happen if it did indeed go to a referendum and it was rejected by the public (in the absence of a plan, assume chaos).

If it is tabled and endorsed by the Labour Party this will most likely fall on the vote on the 12th March.

The Hart Amendment - An amendment tabled by Andrew Percy and Simon Hart and supported by Frank Field.

This amendment is a rival to the Cooper-Boles amendment. It also seeks an extension of A50 in the event of no agreement in the HoC over the WA. But unlike the Cooper-Boles amendment seeks to time limit the extension to 23rd May 2019.

It is not clear which amendment John Bercow may favour.

I just realised why "Project After" gives me the chills:

It reminds me of that horrifying post-nuclear war film in the early 1980s:
"The Day After"

CRAG: Constitutional Reform and Governance Act - Under the CRAG, which was passed in 2010, MPs have 21 sitting days to scrutinise legislation which seeks to change an international treaty. However, May has said the Withdrawal Agreement Bill - which will seek to bring her Brexit deal into law - will contain a clause over-ruling CRAG.

Which is gaming the system to say the least.
