Does anyone know if her Wednesday column appeared in the Mail today?

"Vine has decided to take a short break from writing it in order to have some downtime as she focuses on her own well-being."

I hate the way these people demonstrate just how much they despise the electorate by coming out with bollocks like this. They can't even be bothered to try to lie convincingly.

Wonder how her self-importance is going now that her husband has been knocked out the race. Maybe this is just what is needed to bring her down to reality. Silly woman.

She can concentrate on her wellbeing (or divorce) as much as she likes now - Gove just eliminated!

I'm quite sure we won't have seen the last of Lady MacGove. Probably convening with the three witches to decide her next move.

Mr Gove would do better without her, politically. Spouses of senior politicians should be low-key like Dennis Thstcher, Samantha Cameron, Sarah McCauley Brown and Mr May (whom I've never seen, come to think of it). I don't mean that they should be pathetic little dormice - the people in my examples are themselves well educated, strong and successful - but they should be discreet, and they should remember that no one elected them

She does need to get another job asap. What are they thinking? How can MG be taken seriously when his wife writes unfunny articles about their marital life in a tabloid paper.

Maybe looking up the meaning of the word 'hubris' while she has a little time on her hands...

'focusing on her own wellbeing'

She is sitting on a naughty step somewhere, having a little think, brushing up her CV.

All just a game to them.

Oh, and I think it's all a game to them. They are that far removed from normal life.

'Anyone but Gove' seems to be the resounding cry - from Mumsnet to Ken Clarke - so I don't fancy their chances.

What a pair of wankbadgers.

Giggled?!
This is people's fucking LIVES here!
Their jobs, their homes, their children.
What the fuck is wrong with these people?

I think I know what she's been writing instead. Sky are reporting that Gove's team have been sending texts in an effort to oust AL. Apparently when confronted, Gove 'giggled'.

I think it means she's been asked to stand down Flushing, i.e. dropped.

I understand that they weren't able to print it. Every time her words were applied to the paper they just burned through it, they were simply too acidic. They could have used archival paper but it would have been far too expensive.

Christ, what an odious pair they make.
